Aric Whitewood is the founder and CEO of XAI Asset Management. Previously he was the Chief Data Scientist at Credit Suisse, leading teams within the sales and trading businesses. He has over 20 years experience in the fields of asset management, quantitative finance and high-performance computing, including previous work with the European Space Agency and BAE Systems. He completed his PhD in Electronic Engineering at University College London, where he is currently an Honorary Associate Professor.
Federico Fontana is the CTO of XAI Asset Management. He conducts quantitative research and development for systematic macro strategies, as well as overseeing the data and trading infrastructure of the firm. Before joining the launch of XAI, Federico was a Data Scientist in Credit Suisse and a professional poker player.
Federico holds an MSc in Computational Finance from UCL and a MSc in Quantitative Finance from University of Verona.
