Aric Whitewood is the founder and CEO of XAI Asset Management, a CTA specialising in the application of Artificial Intelligence to investing.
Previously he was the Chief Data Scientist at Credit Suisse, managing a team across Zurich, London and New York.
He has over 20 years' experience in the fields of asset management, quantitative finance and high-performance computing.
He is an Honorary Associate Professor at University College London, where he also completed his PhD in Electronic Engineering.
Federico Fontana is the CTO of XAI Asset Management.
He conducts quantitative research and development for systematic macro strategies, as well as overseeing the data and trading infrastructure of the firm.
Before joining the launch of XAI, Federico was a Data Scientist in Credit Suisse and a professional poker player.
Federico holds an MSc in Computational Finance from UCL and a MSc in Quantitative Finance from University of Verona.
Michael Bull is an Advisor for XAI Asset Management.
Michael has 35 years of professional financial experience, covering global markets, macro-economics, investment analysis, multi-asset allocation, portfolio management, quantitative index strategies, derivative products, and third-party fund due diligence including UCITS.
As a fund manager, he achieved a top 2% peer group ranking, from 400+ funds over a 10-year period, as joint portfolio manager for an absolute return fund of hedge funds, on one of the world's largest institutional managed account platforms.
Prior to working in finance, Dr. Bull was a post-doctoral research fellow in Theoretical Physics at Harvard University and gained his doctorate (D.Phil.) at the University of Oxford in 1989.
